JUSTIN ANDREW PHILLIPS

I was born in Moscow, Russia. When I was three, I was adopted by a wonderful Jewish couple. They took me to the Boston suburbs and generously raised me as one of their own. I grew up in Newton and graduated from Newton North High School. Later, I studied at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City, where many talented teachers nurtured my passion for acting. I’ve worked in theater, film, and TV, sharing the stage with notable actors such as James Spader, Michael Madsen, Jeffrey Wright, and Bebe Neuwirth. I am also fortunate to regularly collaborate with the Brooklyn-based experimental theater company Nightdrive, founded by my close friends Skylar Fox and Simon Henriques. I dream of working across various storytelling media and collaborating with artists I admire. I am passionate about animation and classic cartoons. I love playing soccer and have recently started playing pickleball; it’s very gentle on my knees.
